Privacy Policy
This policy covers the ADVISR website, Intraday Price Mechanics course and related materials, ADVISR desktop application, chart plugins, ADVISR Ledger, and ADVISR Ledger Mentor Server.
Website, course purchases, and support
The site does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies. Purchase links take you to Freemius, which handles checkout and payment information. We receive purchase and license information, such as your email address, order reference, and license status, to deliver and administer your purchase.
If you contact us, we receive the information you provide. Avoid sending account credentials, license keys, or private trading records unless specifically needed for your support request.
We use this information to provide access, administer licenses, answer support requests, and send necessary purchase or product notices. We do not sell, rent, or share your information for third-party marketing.
ADVISR and chart plugins
ADVISR keeps configuration and cached analysis on the computer running the app. Market-data requests go to the selected provider, including MarketData API or the experimental data source where available. Those providers receive the requested symbols, query parameters, and connection information and apply their own terms and privacy practices.
Optional LAN access serves ADVISR from that computer to devices on your local network. Chart plugins run within their respective charting platforms; those platforms apply their own privacy policies.
The ADVISR app does not send your watchlists or notes to us for analytics or advertising.
ADVISR Ledger
Ledger stores your trading records, journals, account histories, financial records, and attachments locally in encrypted storage. You choose where to keep exported backups. A password-encrypted backup can be restored using its password; keep that password and the backup secure.
Bank of Canada exchange-rate requests contain currency-series identifiers and date ranges, not trade amounts, account balances, journals, or attachments. The provider receives normal network information, including the request’s IP address. See the Bank of Canada privacy policy.
Enabling LAN access lets other authorized devices on your local network connect to Ledger. Enabling mentorship sends selected review information to the mentor’s server, as described below.
Mentorship and Mentor Server
Mentor Server stores mentorship accounts, shared review records, messages, comments, and attachments on the server operator’s computer. The operator administers that server and its backups. Contact the operator about access to, retention of, or deletion of information held there.
Ledger’s sharing controls determine which eligible review information is sent. Payouts, wallet activity, expenses, cashflows, and Prop Business records are excluded from the review snapshot. Information you manually put in a message or attachment is shared when you send it.
Cloudflare Remote Access carries connection traffic to the mentor’s server. The server operator authorizes Cloudflare setup. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Local storage does not mean that information shared through mentorship stays only on your device.
Payments and licensing
Freemius handles payment and license services where enabled. Activation and validation may send license, installation, and device information needed to administer access. Freemius applies its own retention and privacy practices. See Freemius’s privacy policy.
Retention and your choices
We retain purchase and support records for as long as needed to administer access, resolve requests, and meet applicable legal obligations. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information we hold about you, subject to applicable law.
You manage records and backups held in your own app installation. Deleting a local record does not necessarily delete copies previously shared with a mentor or retained in backups. Contact the relevant server operator or provider about information they hold.
Security and children’s privacy
We use reasonable technical measures to protect information in our possession. No storage system or internet connection is perfectly secure.
Our products are not directed at children under 13, or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us.
Changes and contact
We update the date on this policy when it changes. Material changes will be communicated through the website or by email where appropriate.
